I’m back — after a far too lengthy hiatus to focus on client engagements, teaching, and curriculum development.

I will be releasing new episodes of Youtubular Conversations at least twice a month throughout 2017. In this episode I mention that I will focus more on news than interviews, but I welcome suggestions on folks I should speak with.

In this episode I review at how YouTube talks about themselves and supports their various stakeholders from viewers, and creators, to rights holders, advertisers, and media companies.

In particular I discuss the meta-meta-meta “context” of their 2016 Rewind video — I showcase the In-Depth Interactive Guide to YouTube Rewind 2016. You can find the non-interactive version here.
