Sherrilynne Starkie, host of The Voice, facilitated an IABC Ottawa Special Interest Group discussion about the major trends in communications measurement and social media evaluation.  In this members’ only event, a dozen communicators came together in the lunchroom at CIRA.  They had a lively conversation which began with goal setting and included tools, analytics and some of the more nuanced aspects of measuring communications impact.

Everyone around the table contributed to the wide-ranging conversation.  Senior communicators Dyna Vynk and Tanya O’Callaghan each spoke at length. Dyna shared some insights from her recent work for the cannabis industry. Tanya explained the role that measurement plays in agile marketing communications.
