IABC Fellows will discuss communication with global audiences

August 4, 2018 by Shel Holtz Leave a Comment

The challenges and complexities of communicating increase with the size and scope of the employee population. It’s one thing to communicate when all your employees are in one city or state. When employees span the country, it gets harder, with the expectations and perceptions of employees in Ohio (for example) not necessarily aligning with those of staff in, say, New York. Add staff in other countries — where cultures (not to mention languages) are different and things get even dicier.

The next Circle of Fellows will feature a conversation about the nuances to be aware of when communicating globally, regionally, and nationally. In addition to discussing how to drive change in global organizations and create global communication plans with regional support and reinforcement, the August panel of four IABC Fellows will answer questions you can submit via Twitter using the hashtag #cof36.

Joining the panel at noon EDT on Thursday, August 16, will be Mary Hills, Leticia Narvaez, Cindy Schmieg, and Angela Sinickas. IABC Fellow Shel Holtz, host of the FIR podcast, will moderate.

You can watch the panel on this page or on YouTube. If you can’t make it for the live broadcast, the video replay will be available shortly afterward. You can also subscribe to the Circle of Fellows podcast to get the audio for listening later (and never miss a future episode). Past episodes are also available on the Circle of Fellows podcast page.
