Facebook’s internet.org project India:

Facebook’s internet.org project will not be withdrawn from India.  Social media giant Facebook said on Thursday that it will not withdraw its controversial zero-rated platform internet.org from India despite scathing criticism from a top government committee, but will rather open it up further to newer telecom operators in order to provide internet access to the unconnected.

Yet another milestone for Evernote: India userbase crosses 5-million mark; among top 5 markets:

Evernote in India is making ways – over 5 million users now!  Cross platform note-taking app Evernote today said it has crossed the five-million user mark in India, making it the fifth largest market for the US-based firm.
