This week in Digital India Podcast we discussed about our recent visit to IIMB – Indian Institute of Management Bangalore for an event called Eximius.

The 113th episode of Digital India Podcast on FIR Podcast Network is brought to you by staff and students of  Web Marketing Academy

So the Eximius event held many competitions after which they came up with the final 5 Groups. And the next level for the finalist was a Start-Up. Each group was given some start-up and what they have to do is to market that start-up digitally in other words they have to do digital marketing which limited time period and limited budget. The total time they were given was 10 Days with Budget of about 10,000 rs.

So in this podcast we discussed about all the 5 start-ups, we discussed how they started their work in the very new field, we discussed about their content strategies, how they used the social media platforms for marketing their business, what and how many social campaigns they used and the strategies they used behind that and many more..

Visiting IIMB was a great experience for WMA students, according to them they got a great networking platform to interact with new people and learn something new from them. To sum up they learned networking, failing, restarting and learning is part of foundation of your start up and a continuous process.

Here we also discussed about Lenskart Founder – Peyush Bansal where he shared about his journey, his ups and downs and his learnings, his execution learnings, his people learnings and last his personal learnings. Overall the learning of Lenskart CEO was very down to earth and the interaction was very realistic.

This podcast will give you a lot of learnings and understanding about Digital Marketing and how and where you can use it properly for better results.
