Steve Van Wormer FullSizeRender9

In this episode, Mitchell Levy, Chief Aha Instigator of the Aha Amplifier (http://AhaAmplifier.com), with his co-host for the month,#ThoughtLeader Kami Huyse, CEO of Zoetica Media (http://www.zoeticamedia.com), hold an interesting discussion with #ThoughtLeader Steve Van Wormer, co-founder and president of phaware (http://www.phaware.global). This month’s theme focuses on cause marketing and how it can drive success for any business.Steve is a leading figure in the global campaign for awareness of Pulmonary Hypertension, or PH. Many corporations have gravitated toward the campaign for PH Awareness as a result of Steve and his team’s creative ways to market the cause. One of the things Steve has done to attract technology companies is produce awareness videos and mobile apps about PH, which at the same time allows them to showcase what kind of technology they have. Eventually, notes Mitchell, viewers are able to appreciate the capabilities of the company, which makes this particular cause marketing a win-win-win for everyone.

Steve notes that the greatest measurement for success is when you are truly able to help a single patient by making them aware of support groups, research studies, and other information that could help them get through PH.The ultimate measurement is when you really grab someone though the various technologies you are using, and make other partners be involved in helping that person.Steve also shares some of the creative ways by which they are able to source funds for the cause and how many big companies, like Fox and Apple, have decided to adopt the cause.
